This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Wow.. it's been since August of 2008 since I've last been here, and all I had up was my Edward Elric art.. lol.
And holy crap... Right after I got fired..!
Well, I guess now it's time to revive my Deviant Art.. why not?
Considering I am now active on Soliaonline.com and considering doing avatar art, what better way than to revive my Deviant profile with several pieces of month old art from yours truly?
So they are up and ready.
Enjoy and comment, etc.
I hope to get some art done soon, and hope I can please the viewers some.
I was looking around and ended up on one of your pictures. It's been... hell, almost a year since I've actually WANTED to pick up a pencil and draw again, but art as good as yours just made me want to register and see what else you had done. And I must say, the way you draw is so inspiring, I'm truly shocked, and even more shocked that you commented me! x.x
Art is absolutely awesome, hell... I might post a picture of mine because of you. :3
Or dig up an old scan of my *now destroyed* drawings. (What happens when a basement floods...)
You have no idea how great this comment made me feel! It's people like you that make it all worth while. Family may always be there to compliment your work, but when a complete stranger tells you they love what you've created, you just feel so accomplished and talented. Thank you so much, really. :'D I'm glad I've been an inspiration - you should really pick up that pencil again. In the world of art, no one can tell you what's good or bad, only yourself.
I've had people tell me that my style ("anime") sucks as well, I even faced a crap art teacher that tried to get her students to follow a formation with their art. D< And people who think that anime isn't a proper art style can shove it. Fashion changes, music changes; what makes everyone think art should stay the same? People who don't appreciate art are both difficult to understand, and hurtful when they blow masterpieces off like it's nothing. But it's such an honor to come face-to-face with someone who appreciates every aspect of it, even if they aren't artists themselves. In time, for every rude comment you get, you'll get ten compliments. Even from looking at the Edward piece you submitted, if you look around, there aren't many people who can draw like that.
*whew* Sorry, ranted a bit. But thanks again for that lovely comment, and I hope you get back in to the habit of drawing!
